Leo Club Highlights

The Sebastian Leo Club has been busy serving our school and community throughout the fall semester. Here are some of the highlights from recent activities:

In early September, on September 4–5, 2025, Leos hosted a recruitment table during lunch periods to raise awareness about the club and encourage new membership. This outreach effort contributed to at least eight combined service hours and helped introduce new students to the spirit of Leo service.

On October 11, 2025, Leos partnered with the Sebastian Lions Club during the United Way Day of Caring to prepare the Sebastian River High School gymnasium for the Annual Homecoming Dance. Volunteers arrived early Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and worked together to clean, organize, decorate, and transport tables and supplies across campus. This successful collaboration resulted in more than 40 combined service hours between Leos and Lions.

During November, the Leo Club organized a three‑week food drive, collecting over 300 pounds of non‑perishable food items. Donations were delivered to the Roseland Ecumenical Food Pantry on November 19. From posting flyers to making announcements, collecting donations, and sorting items, Leos contributed at least 20 combined service hours to help support families in need.

To wrap up the semester, on December 6, 2025, the Leos proudly marched alongside the Sebastian Lions in the Sebastian Holiday Parade. Wearing their new Leo t‑shirts, members showcased their Leo pride and represented the club with enthusiasm and community spirit.
