During the summer of 2011, Leos cleaned and replanted the Jen & Dave Memorial Garden at Community Park

In 2012, Leos furthered our committment to our community, by continuing to maintain the Jen & Dave Memorial Garden. With the help of Lions, family members and borough employees, the Garden was enlarged and trees planted (including our gift tree from our Advisors).

In July 2013, the Leos dedicated the Jen & Dave Memorial Garden with Lynn Shiner, Mother of Jen & Dave.

In June 2011, the Leos will partner with the Capital Area Greenbelt Association and SERVED water and candy to the bikers during the Greenbelt Association's Tour deBelt. Several days after the 2011 Tour deBelt, the Leos adopted 1 mile of the Paxtang Parkway (a portion of the Greenbelt) and will do periodic clean-ups throughout the year.

As part of the Lions International President's challenge for each member to plant 1 tree, we planted our 1st 10 trees at the Penbrook entrance of the Paxtang Parkway with the help of the Greenbelt representatives.

Our Leos are partnering with those who deliver "Meals on Wheels" and are sending holiday greetings to some local residents.

Christmas 2013 was the 4th year our Leos visited a local nursing home and caroled through the halls, stopping along the way to visit with residents.

We have assisted the vision-impaired during a the Tri-County Association for the Blind's Talent Show.

Our sponsoring Lions Club organizes the community Halloween Parade and we have been assisting them since our formation. We also assist the Volunteers in Penbrook during the Penbrook Community Halloween Party.

This was the 4th year we have participated in the Community's Tree Lighting Ceremony.

As they continue to meet two times each month, we continue to make plans to SERVE our community.

We invite students to stop by any of our meetings or assist with any of our projects. Enjoy the PRIDE you will EXPERIENCE knowing you have SERVED others.
